Salad and Go plans to raise starting wage to $15/hour on June 29

Salad and Go, the Gilbert-born quick-service concept that has grown to 18 Valley locations in just seven years, announced it will increase its starting wage for all team members to $15 per hour starting June 29.

In addition, existing employees will get pay increases on that date.

The announcement comes just five months after Salad and Go completed a 19-month campaign to lower the price of all its salads with chicken or organic tofu from $7.18 to just $5.74.

The company also has donated more than 20,000 meals to local healthcare workers, first responders, and other essential workers during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Salad and Go plans to open another 16 locations in the next year.
