Last week, MXSW reported The Perch Pub & Brewery in downtown Chandler planned to close temporarily starting June 29 ‘‘due to the craziness of the COVID-19 virus here in Arizona and the current physical state of the restaurant.’’
Over the weekend, however, the brewpub learned one of its staffers had tested positive for Covid-19, so the business decided to close Sunday for several days of cleaning and sanitizing.
It says the chances it will reopen before the planned June 29 closure are ‘‘unlikely.’’
