The opening of Francine, a French-Mediterranean fine-dining concept coming to Scottsdale Fashion Square, has been pushed back to Aug. 14. The concept from famed restaurateur Laurent Halasz will join Nobu, Toca Madera, and Ocean 44 in the mall’s luxury wing.
The 5,000-square-foot restaurant originally was to be called Farmhouse, which is the name of the concept’s original location in Los Angeles. Earlier this year, Halasz announced the Scottsdale location would be renamed in honor of his mother, Francine.
Halasz, who was born in the south of France, is best-known for his New York-based Fig & Olive restaurants.
Francine will hold a job fair from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. July 7-8 to fill 60 positions.
