If you’ve driven past the southwest corner of Recker and Brown in east Mesa in the past week and not noticed just-opened NY Pizza & Wings, it’s understandable.
The small pizzeria, which already is drawing rave reviews, is located inside the corner’s Chevron gas station.
NY Pizza & Wings offers a full menu of hand-tossed pizzas, calzones, strombolis, wings and other appetizers, and desserts.
Pizzas start at $2.75 per slice or $8 for a 14-inch cheese pie.
Hours are 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday, and noon-8 p.m. Sunday.
