La Ristra New Mexican Kitchen, a family-run restaurant that opened in Gilbert in 2013, has soft-launched a second location in downtown Chandler. It’s located in the Overstreet development on the southwest corner of Arizona and Chandler.
It takes over part of the space next to Flix Brewhouse originally planned for a second Camp Social, a camping-themed concept that closed its original Phoenix location last year.
La Ristra’s Chandler location offers the same menu as the Gilbert one, including green chile burritos, adovada short ribs, and blue corn stacked enchiladas. It has a tequila bar and two private rooms.
Over the weekend, the new location was open for online takeout orders only through its website. No word on when it will open for in-house dining.
The Gilbert location remains open for in-house dining or takeout.
