The GOAT Sports Grill ready to play ball in northeast Mesa

The GOAT Sports Grill, named for the common sports acronym for ‘‘Greatest of All Time,’’ has opened near the southwest corner of Power and McDowell in northeast Mesa.

It joins several other eateries – including Nando’s Mexican Cafe, Barro’s Pizza, and Zushi – in the Superstition Promenade.

Besides the requisite burgers, sandwiches, tacos, and flatbread pizzas, the menu offers:

  • 12 kinds of sliders, including Cuban, torta, and pizza;
  • Nine kinds of fries, including poutine, carne asada, loco moco, and barbecue;
  • Eight kinds of grilled cheese sandwiches, including French onion, mac and cheese, and chili cheese dog.

Hours are 11 a.m.-11 p.m. daily. Curbside pickup is available.
