Tacos Lupe, a locally owned taqueria promising ‘‘the best tacos in Maricopa County,’’ has opened near the northeast corner of Stapley and Broadway in Mesa.
The fast-casual menu offers tacos and burros with a choice of seven fillings: carne asada, pollo, al pastor, cabeza (cow’s head), tripa (beef gut), lengua (tongue), fish, and shrimp.
Breakfast plates are $7.50-$8.75, and lunch/dinner combos are $9.99-$14.99.
Tacos Lupe is open for dine-in or takeout from 9 a.m.-10:30 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 9 a.m.-11:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
