18-month-old Civic Market undergoing changes in downtown Chandler

Civic Market – a combination of coffeehouse, restaurant, grab-and-go market, and beauty salon in downtown Chandler – is undergoing changes.

Lilly and Adam Walter, who opened Civic Market in March 2019, have left the business, but building owner Peter Sciacca says the market will continue with a return to his original vision.

That vision? An urban grocery store that will sell slices of pizza.

The market shares a large courtyard with QuartHaus beer and wine bar, which Sciacca also owns, on the southeast corner of Washington and Chicago.
