Cuisine & Wine Bistro in Gilbert to be transformed into B Gastrobar

Cuisine & Wine Bistro in Gilbert is undergoing a transformation. The award-winning wine bar, which has been closed this summer due to the coronaviruspandemic, will reopen next month as B Gastrobar.

The American-style gastropub concept will feature a full bar, a new lunch and dinner menu with burgers and sandwiches, and a renovated interior.

“We decided that if we were going to be closed for a while, then we would take advantage of that time to make the kitchen more efficient and to open up the seating area near the bar,” says owner Mairead Buschtetz.

Buschtetz and her husband-chef, Fabrice, opened Cuisine & Wine Bistro on the northeast corner of McQueen and Warner in 2015.

The following year it was named Best Wine Bar in Arizona by Buzzfeed, one of numerous honors it has received.

With the help of their adult children, the couple opened a second Cuisine & Wine Bistro in south Chandler. That location will remain a French-inspired wine bistro.

The family also launched Copper & Logs, a gastropub focused on wood-fired pizzas and craft cocktails, in Gilbert earlier this year.
