Benjamin’s Uptairs opens today above Citizen Public House in Scottsdale

Benjamin’s Upstairs, a fried chicken and oyster bar from the team behind Citizen Public House and The Gladly, opens today in Old Town Scottsdale.

It takes over the upstairs space at CPH that formerly was home to its experimental cocktail bar Citizen R+D.

CPH executive chef Ben Graham’s menu features eight ‘‘chef’s plates,’’ including fried chicken (pictured), cornbread waffles, and salmon chicharrones.

Due to the restaurant’s tiny space, reservations are recommended. Hours are 4-9 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday and 4-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
