Lochiel Brewing in east Mesa is inviting its fans and others to invest in the 3-year-old brewery and its Scottish-style ales.
Owner and brewmaster Ian Cameron (pictured) temporarily closed the brewery’s taproom in May to concentrate distributing its beers to restaurants, bars, and stores.
To that end, Lochiel is using Mainvest, a crowdfunding investment marketplace, to allow people to invest a minimum of $100.
Unlike crowdfunding sites like Kickstarter, Mainvest gives investors the opportunity to share in Lochiel’s revenue as it grows.
