Safe Haven Brewery, a new brewery from the father-and-son team of Rykert and Gus Fowler, is coming to Roosevelt Row in downtown Phoenix.
The Fowlers have signed a lease on a 5,000-square-foot building near the southwest corner of Fourth Street and Roosevelt.
Their seven-barrel brewhouse will have a taproom but no kitchen, although it’s a possibility in the future. In the meantime, occasional food trucks will be brought in.
Gus Fowler has worked at several East Valley breweries, including The Shop Beer Co. and Pedal Haus in Tempe and SanTan Brewing in Chandler.
The brewery’s tentative opening is in the spring of 2021.
