OHSO Brewery will unveil a new concept called Little O’s – a ‘‘baby’’ version of its popular brewpubs – in downtown Phoenix.
The restaurant, bar, and dog-friendly patio are taking over the former Zoe’s Kitchen near the southeast corner of Seventh Avenue and McDowell in Phoenix.
The concept is a way to reward longtime employees with the opportunity to open their own brewpub. Summer Anesin, one of the original hires as a server at OHSO nine years ago, is a co-owner of the first Little O’s.
The food menu will feature several popular dishes from OHSO’s menu as well as new items like flatbread pizzas. In addition, Little O’s will offer grab-and-go sandwiches and sides.
The bar will have 16 beers, including several OHSO beers, on tap, plus a couple dozen more in bottles and cans. No brewing will take place on-site.
Little O’s is expected to open by the end of this month.
