Arizona breweries to raise funds & awareness with virtual festival on Sept. 19

Beering Arizona, a virtual craft beer festival with in-person options, will take place Saturday, Sept. 19, to help the state’s struggling breweries and taprooms.

The event is a fundraiser for the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild, which had to cancel several of its usual fests this year due to the covid-19 pandemic.

In their place, Beering Arizona will feature brewery features, brewer interviews, and beer discussions – all streamed online. Festival ‘‘attendees’’ can participate at a participating brewery or, if they prefer, from the comfort of their own sofa.

Tickets include commemorative shirts, insulated cooler bags, glassware, other swag, and access to a bunch of beer deals (so you can stock up before the festival).

General admission tickets are $30 or $55. VIP tickets are $55 or $75. Learn what they include here.

The festival will start at 2 p.m. and stream live on YouTube Live (general admission) and Zoom (VIP).
