Chris Bianco to close newer Pane Bianco, move Tratto into building

Acclaimed Valley chef and restaurateur Chris Bianco has announced some big changes to his restaurant group due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The Pane Bianco at 16th Street and Van Buren is closing after 18 months in business. It had replaced another Bianco concept, Roland’s Cafe Market Bar, which lasted less than a year.

Tratto, the 1,000-square-foot trattoria located next to the Pizzeria Bianco at Town & Country center near 20th Street and Camelback, will move into the 4,000-square-foot Pane Bianco space, with a tentative opening date of Oct. 14.

A secondĀ Bar Bianco has taken over the vacated Tratto space (pictured).

In other words, there is a Pizzeria Bianco and Bar Bianco at Town & Country, just like the originals at Heritage Square.

The original Pane Bianco on Central Avenue remains unaffected by the changes.
