Chandler’s Desert Cider House, Arizona’s oldest operating craft cidery, has closed after four years. The cidery cited the covid-19 pandemic as the reason.
According to its social media post:
‘‘With a great deal of consideration and deliberation, and in light of the economic realities brought on by Covid-19, we have made the difficult decision to wind down our business, and close our doors. We want to thank you all the support you have given us over the years!’’
DCH had four year-round ciders – Desert Dragon, Peach, Cranberry Pomegranate, and Pear – as well as several seasonals available at restaurants and bars throughout the Valley.
