Phoenix Public Market Cafe in downtown Phoenix closes after 7 years

Add Phoenix Public Market Cafe in downtown Phoenix to the growing list of Valley restaurants permanently closed by the covid-19 pandemic.

The restaurant, which opened in 2013, had been temporarily closed since March.

Owner-chef Aaron Chamberlain says the pandemic has decimated the market’s customer base of ASU students, convention goers, and business travelers.

Tempe Public Market Cafe, PPMC’s sibling, closed in January after two years.
