By Jess Harter Monday, October 5, 2020

The Stillery, a Nashville-based restaurant and bar concept featuring Southern comfort food and live country music, holds its grand opening today in downtown Chandler.

The 5,800-square-foot venue is in the New Square development in the former gravel parking lot behind Bourbon Jacks and The Original ChopShop.

The Stillery’s menu offerings include ‘‘two-handed sandwiches,’’ brick-oven ‘‘rustic pies’’ (pizzas), cocktails in Mason jars, and, of course, Nashville hot chicken (pictured below on top of mac and cheese).

The restaurant debuted in Nashville in 2015 and added a second location in 2017.

With its own stage and dance floor, in addition to New Square’s outdoor stage area, The Stillery claims to be the largest live country music venue in the city.

Hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Wednesday and 11 a.m.- 2 a.m. Thursday-Saturday.
