Eegee’s confirms 5 locations coming to Valley starting in mid-2021

Tucson-based Eegee’s has confirmed recent media reports the fast-food concept is coming (back) to the Valley.

The cult-fave restaurant, known for its frozen fruit drinks and grinders, plans to open five locations in the Valley beginning in the second quarter of 2021.

Two locations are planned for Gilbert, with others in Mesa, Scottsdale, and Phoenix. Seven more restaurants also are planned for the Tucson area in 2021.

Ed Irving and Bob Greenberg launched Eegee’s in 1971.

Now owned by 39 North Capital and Kitchen Fund, the chain currently has 24 locations in Tucson and one in Casa Grande.
