With large-scale events shut down by the pandemic, the twice-a-year A Taste of Greece festival in Chandler is going virtual this weekend.
The fest is inviting people to visit its online store to order food items to be picked up from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at St. Katherine’s Greek Orthodox Church.
Takeout items include chicken or beef gyros ($8), spanakopita ($6), Greek fries ($5), and baklava (two for $6).
Online orders will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. Thursday. Phone orders can be placed by called 480-855-5713 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
St. Katherine’s is located on Dobson just south of Elliot.
