Just 12 days ago, I wrote about the opening of The Pizza Experience, a chef-driven concept promising “no more boring pizza,’’ on the southeast corner of Lindsay and Warner in Gilbert.
Sadly, it appears the restaurant has closed after less than a month in business. A sign in the window indicates the space is for lease again.
Previous occupants were Sanfratello’s Pizza and Michael’s Pizza. That makes three pizzerias that have closed in the space in less than five years.
