Chantico, a Mexican restaurant from the owners of Ocotillo, has opened on the southwest corner of 11th Street and Camelback in Phoenix.
The diverse menu draws inspiration from all parts of Mexico, featuring such items as birria (goat) tacos, braised lamb chimichangas, Yucatan-style tamales, and banana leaf pork.

The sit-down restaurant has a modern industrial decor similar to its Phoenix sister restaurant, Ocotillo (which focuses on American fare).
The owners also operate Starlite BBQ in Scottsdale and Sidecar Social Club in Phoenix.
Chantico is open for happy hour from 2 p.m.-close daily and for dinner from 4:30-9:30 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 4:30-10:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
