Fried Spudz, a new eatery specializing in loaded fries and chicken wings, has opened on the northeast corner of Lindsay and Warner in Gilbert.
It takes over the former Shorty & Wags, which closed last month.
The menu features fries with 13 choices of toppings ranging from carne asada to chili dogs to pizza. (Pictured: Chicken, bacon, and ranch.)
Wings, bone-in and boneless, comes a choice of eight sauces.
Dessert options include funnel cake fries, cotton candy cheesecake, and fried cheesecake.
Fried Spudz is open 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
