Slice Eat, a new ‘‘gourmet Italian’’ drive-through concept from Luca Gagliano, the owner of downtown Phoenix pizzeria Forno 301, has opened in south Scottsdale.
It’s located next to Taco Bell on the southwest corner of Scottsdale and Thomas.
The menu: Wood-fired pizzas (by the foot-long slice or whole pie), as well as pastas and other Italian entrees, such as eggplant parmesan (pictured).
Hours: Slice Eat opens at 10 a.m. daily with plans to eventually stay open until midnight.
Note: Slice Eat is a cash-less restaurant. Only credit cards are accepted.
