Tukee Tap & Bottle, a beer and wine bar that hoped to open this month in Ahwatukee, has lost its space in the Fry’s shopping plaza on the southwest corner of 40th Street and Chandler Boulevard.
The reason: According to the bar’s social media post, the city of Phoenix ‘‘denied the owners of the plaza and Tukee Tap from opening in the end suite do to the condos having concerns next door.’’
What’s next? Tukee Tap & Bottle currently is looking for a new space.
