Illinois-based Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants, a chain of Napa-inspired ‘‘upscale casual’’ wine bars, makes its Arizona debut today near the southeast corner of Scottsdale and Frank Lloyd Wright in north Scottsdale.

The space:  It features a scratch kitchen, wine tastings, a wine club, a wine shop, and an expansive dining area.

Menu highlights: Blackened bleu skirt steak salad ($19.99), parmesan-crusted chicken ($19.99), shrimp and scallop risotto ($28.99), cilantro ranch chicken sandwich ($14.99).

Hours: 11 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.

Noteworthy: The Scottsdale restaurant is the western-most of Cooper Hawk’s 43 locations.

What’s next? A second Arizona location is planned near Chandler Fashion Center in 2021.
