California Fish Grill, a Los Angeles-based chain of fast-casual seafood restaurants, makes its Arizona debut today in Mesa.
The space: It’s taking over the former Old Country Buffet building on the northeast corner of Stapley and Baseline. The buffet closed in 2015.
Menu highlights: Battered fish and chips ($8.99), paleo salmon bowl ($11.35), salmon and swai combo ($12.29), Louisiana delta catfish ($11.25), battered fish taco ($3.25).
Hours: 11 a.m.-9 p.m.Sunday-Wednesday and 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday.
