The G.O.A.T. Sports Grill, which opened in June near the southwest corner of Power and McDowell in northeast Mesa, has closed.
What’s next? The venue’s social media updates indicate at least one the owners, Scott McKay, is trying to reopen the business.
The history: McKay launched the sports bar with Peter Matta, whose family operates a pair of Mexican restaurants in Mesa.
