Gelato Cimmino, a 2-year-old gelato shop in Old Town Scottsdale, is opening a second location in downtown Gilbert.
The space: It’s taking over the former Western Audio stereo repair shop just north of OHSO Brewery.
The competition: Right next door is Creamistry, which creates customized ice creams with liquid nitrogen, and just across Gilbert Road is Peterson’s Ice Cream & Cafe.
