Salvadoreño Restaurant, a family-owned eatery specializing in El Salvadoran and other Central American dishes, will open its seventh location at Baseline and Hardy in June.

Pupusas, thick flatbreads (pictured) that are the national dish of El Salvador, are the signature menu item. They’re usually stuffed with a choice of cheese, meat, or vegetable.

Salvadoreño Restaurant currently has two locations in Mesa, two in Phoenix, one in El Mirage, and one in Riverside, Calif.
