The Kolache Cafe, an Ahwatukee bakery specializing in the delicious Czech pastries from which it takes its name, has opened on the northeast corner of Ray and Ranch Circle in Ahwatukee.
The bakery, which is located in the same shopping center with The Buzzed Goat and Moku Hawaiian, has been open on some weekends for deliveries, but now has opened its dining room.
Kolaches come with a choice of nearly three dozen fillings that are either sweet (such as apple or blueberry) or savory (such as bacon, egg, and cheese).
Sweet varieties are $1.89 apiece, $9 per half-dozen, or $17 per dozen, while savory are $2.89, $15, and $29.
A grand opening special – 25% off all orders – will be offered this Friday through Jan. 24.
The Kolache Cafe is open 6 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.
