By Jess Harter Thursday, January 14, 2021

Nico Heirloom Kitchen, the West Coast-inspired seasonal Italian restaurant that opened in May 2016 in downtown Gilbert, has rebranded itself as a gastropub called Copper 48.

The menu still features favorites like house-made pasta and braised short ribs, along with some new additions like a half-pound burger and cauliflower ‘‘wings.’’

Copper 48 is open 3-9 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 3-10 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday. Closed Mondays.
