As part of an expanded Arizona Beer Week, Uncle Bear’s Brewery in Gilbert is offering customers at its satellite Grill & Tap locations a behind-the-scenes look at the brewing process.
Using a small, 5-gallon brewing system, director of brewery operations Andrew Bauman will demonstrate how to make an imperial nut brown at the Mesa Greenfield location on Saturday, a strawberry kiwi wheat at Mesa Baseline on Sunday, and a pineapple hazy IPA at Queen Creek on Feb. 13.
Each free demonstration will run 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Bauman brewed preliminary batches at each location last weekend so onlookers will be able to sample the beers during the demos.
