Serrano’s monthly specials for February include Girl Scout cookie dessert

Mint to Be, a dessert featuring Girl Scout Thin Mints, is one of five February specials at Serrano’s Mexican Restaurants:

• Strawberry Mint Mojito: Traditional mojito muddled with fresh strawberries and mint leaves ($7.99);
• Chorizo Dip: Spicy cream cheese queso mixed with house chorizo and served with house-made corn chips on a sizzling skillet ($9.99);
• Grilled Romaine Salad: A grilled romaine heart served with cochinita pibil topped with queso fresco, roasted tomatoes, tortilla strips, black beans, habanero pickled red onions, and chipotle lime vinaigrette ($11.99);
• Cochinita Pibil Skillet: Cochinita pibil slow-roasted with citrus and achiote and served on a sizzling skillet with cilantro lime rice, stewed black beans, and house-made tortillas ($11.99);
• Mint to Be: Chocolate cake layered with whipped cream, chocolate custard, and Thin Mints cookies ($5.99).

Serrano’s has two locations in Mesa and one in downtown Chandler. The Tempe location is closed for remodeling.
