OHSO Brewery and The Hungry Monk host separate events this week that celebrate a unique pairing – craft beer and doughnuts.
Donut Daze
On Thursday, all four OHSO brewpubs will host their annual Donut Daze. OHSO’s brewers have created 13 different doughnut-inspired beers, which will be served with free doughnuts.
The 166 dozen doughnuts will be cut into quarters this year, making it easier for people to sample more flavors with their beers.
The event starts when doors open at 11 a.m. and runs as long as supplies last.
Hopslam & Donuts
On Friday, The Hungry Monk will host its annual Hopslam & Donuts Pajama Party (pictured above), celebrating the seasonal release of Bell’s award-winning double IPA, at 7:30 a.m.
Free doughnuts will be available from a handful of local doughnut shops, and attendees are encouraged to wear their pajamas, slippers, and/or robes.
