Local breweries are banding together to save the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild, and they need your help.
The non-profit guild – which supports Arizona beer through education, communication, and lobbying – has seen its revenue drop 80% in the last year due to the cancellation of its numerous beer festivals.
To make up a little of that shortfall, they’ve organized virtual festivals and sold coupon books. This month, traditionally home to Arizona Beer Week, they’re stepping up those efforts:
- More than 20 breweries are releasing a Rebuild the Guild IPA and donating a portion of the profits to the guild. Today, The Beer Research Institute in Mesa becomes the latest to put cans on sale. Learn more here.
- Craft beer bars are holding Rebuild the Guild fundraisers of their own. This Sunday, The Hungry Monk in Chandler is donating 20% of all food and drink sales to the guild.
- Eighteen breweries will participate in a socially distanced Saving Strong Beer festival Feb. 21 at Old Ellsworth Brewing in Queen Creek. Learn more here.
- The guild is selling Rebuild the Guild merchandise, such as shirts and hats. You can order items here.
The Arizona Craft Brewers Guild greatly appreciates all support.
