The Golden Pineapple in Tempe to donate tonight’s tips to Kramer’s family

By Jess Harter Monday, February 15, 2021

The Golden Pineapple in Tempe will hold a special edition of its weekly industry night with guest bartenders Brandon Casey and William Ludington donating all their tips tonight to the family of Bobby Kramer.

Kramer (pictured), who was beverage director at The Brickyard Downtown and Hidden House in downtown Chandler, was killed last Wednesday by a wrong-way driver on I-10. He left behind a wife and 2-year-old son.

Casey, owner of Casey’s Woodshed in south Tempe, and Ludington, a bartender at Maple & Ash in Scottsdale, both worked at The Ostrich, which, along with The Brickyard, helped build downtown Chandler’s cocktail scene.

The Golden Pineapple opens its doors at 6 p.m. tonight with a limited cocktail and food menu.

Those who can’t attend but want to donate to Kramer’s family can do so here.
