Louisiana-based Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers has opened its eighth East Valley restaurant on the southeast corner of McClintock and Baseline in south Tempe.
As its almost cult-like following (known as ‘‘Caniacs’’) knows, the menu focuses on just three things: chicken fingers, coleslaw, and crinkle-cut fries.
The 25-year-old quick-service chain has been one of the fastest-growing in the United States in recent years.
It had fewer than 100 restaurants when it made its Arizona debut in 2011. Today, Raising Cane’s has more than 500.
