Chicken Veneto and Pork AgroDolce will be the featured entrees when Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert holds its weekly ‘‘Taste of Romeo’s’’ dinner at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 4.
The dinner, hosted by owner-chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, is held in a private dining room with social distancing. The five courses selected from the restaurant’s regular menu also are available to go from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
This week’s selections:
- Peppers Spanaki: A sweet red bell pepper halved and stuffed with mozzarella, spinach, and brown rice, baked with tomato sauce;
- Corinthian Salad: Grilled chicken breast, hearts of palm, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, capers, and feta cheese tossed in Italian dressing over mixed greens;
- Chicken Veneto: Chicken breast, whole black peppercorn, capers, green onion, mushroom, garlic, and Marsala cream;
- Pork AgroDolce: Blackened pork tenderloin, smashed crispy potatoes, green beans, grape tomatoes, roasted garlic, balsamic Cipollini onions, and fig agrodolce;
- Not Ella Bar: Chocolate and hazelnut.
Cost is $39 per person plus tax and tip. Add five wine tastes (or a bottle of wine to go) for $10. RSVP: 480-962-4224.
