Rosati’s Pizza reopens Chandler location that was closed more than a year

Rosati’s Pizza – which closed its restaurant and bar on the northeast corner of McQueen and Ray in Chandler more than a year ago – has reopened it under new ownership.

The location originally was launched by brothers Rick and Mike Rosati and friend Scott Selke. The trio brought the family-owned Chicago chain to south Tempe in 1986 and eventually opened a half-dozen Valley locations.

Meanwhile, another group of Rosati family members launched other locations around the Valley and began selling franchises. Today there are 22 Arizona locations and more than 200 nationally.

After most of the first group’s Valley locations closed in 2019, the other group reopened several, including the Tempe original and now McQueen/Ray.

Hours are 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
