Brooklyn V’s Pizza to take over Amalfi Pizza space in south Chandler

Good news for fans of New York-style pizza: Brooklyn V’s Pizza is opening a fourth East Valley location in south Chandler.

It’s taking over the 3,000-square-foot space on the northeast corner of Alma School and Chandler Heights that has been home to Amalfi Pizza for 10 years. Amalfi closed Feb. 27.

Chef-owner Vito LoPiccolo – who operated Italian restaurants in Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island – opened the first Brooklyn V’s on the northeast corner of Lindsay and Warner in Gilbert in 2013.

In 2017, LoPiccolo opened a second, larger location on the southeast corner of Rittenhouse and Ellsworth in Queen Creek.

A third East Valley location opened next to the Harkins Chandler Crossroad theaters on the northwest corner of Gilbert and Germann in late 2018.

Look for the newest Brooklyn V’s to open this summer.
