Tempe-based Four Peaks Brewing has jumped into the fast-growing hard seltzer game with the release of Sun Day Solar Seltzers.
The seltzers’ name references the clean, renewable energy used to brew the beverage. Last year, Four Peaks installed 500 solar panels on the roof of its Wilson Street production brewery.
“All of the energy we use to produce Sun Day comes from the Arizona sun,” says head innovation brewer Melissa Osborne says.
Sun Day Solar Seltzers come in four fruit flavors: lime, grapefruit, tropical, and prickly pear. All have an ABV of 4.0% and 99 calories per can.
Packages include six-packs of the lime flavor and mixed 12-packs that have all four flavors.
