Drive-through salad eatery Salad and Go launched its 29th location at 6:30 a.m. today on the southeast corner of Signal Butte and Guadalupe in southwest Mesa.

The concept, which began in Gilbert in 2013, offers nine chef-created salads (all $5.74 with chicken or tofu, also available as wraps), five breakfast burritos (all $2.99), house-made soup ($3.99), and cold-brew coffee, iced tea, or house-made lemonade (all $1).

Wednesday also is launch of Salad and Go’s three seasonal menu items for spring:

  • Southwest Sonoran Salad (pictured): Fresh-cut corn, roasted poblano peppers, marinated chickpeas, carrots, red onions, pepitas, and pepper jack cheese on romaine and mixed greens with serrano lime vinaigrette;
  • Chicken & Wild Rice Soup: Lean chicken breast, mushrooms, carrots, celery, wild rice, and herbs;
  • Blueberry Basil Lemonade.

Salad and Go is open 6:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Friday and 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.
