Wicked Brews, Bites & Spirits – the 4-month-old brew pub that took over the former Uncle Bear’s space on the southwest corner of I-10 and Ray in Ahwatukee – taps its first in-house beers today.
The ales to be tapped at noon:
- Witch of the West Coast IPA: A traditional West Coast IPA made with Cascade, Amarillo, and Citra hops (6.9% ABV, 70 IBU);
- Sweet Dee Blonde: A light golden blonde ale with a crisp malty finish (5% ABV, 20 IBU).
With its first beers ready, Wicked is holding its official grand opening through the weekend with live music starting at 1 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday. NBA, college basketball, and NHL games will be shown on TV.
The food menu offers burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, and more.
