Pinkberry, the iconic fro-yo concept that started in Los Angeles in 2005 and inspired hundreds of copycats, has opened a kiosk location at Scottsdale Fashion Square.
A second Valley location is in the works for Chandler Fashion Center.
The tart original flavor of Pinkberry’s frozen yogurt remains the most popular, but has been joined by a dozen others, such as matcha, passion fruit, and watermelon lime.
In 2015, the company was purchased by Scottsdale-based Kahala Brands, which also owns Coldstone Creamery.
Pinkberry currently has more than 260 stores in 20 countries.
