Serrano’s to sell $5 burritos for National Burrito Day on Thursday

Serrano’s Mexican Restaurants is celebrating National Burrito Day on Thursday with $5 a la carte burritos all day. Diners can choose from shredded beef, shredded chicken, or bean and cheese burritos for in-house dining or curbside takeout.

In addition, the restaurants’ next round of monthly specials for April will kick off Monday:

  • Margarita Sampler: House with a salt rim, blood orange with a tajin rim, prickly pear with a sugar rim, and mango with a chamoy and tajin rim ($9.99);
  • Boss Barbacoa Flautas: Served with roasted tomato salsa and garnished with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, queso fresco, habanero pickled red onions, and housemade crema ($9.99);
  • Southwest Chopped Salad: Crisp romaine topped with Sonoran grilled chicken, guacamole, sliced radish, queso fresco, black beans, roasted corn, and tomatoes with fried corn chips and roasted serrano vinaigrette ($13.99);
  • Serrano’s Southwest Cheesesteak: Slow-braised beef and grilled fajita vegetables piled high on a bolillo roll and then smothered with fundido and melted pepper jack cheese with a side of fries ($14.99);
  • Lemon Berry Carlota: Fresh lemon cream layered with vanilla cookies and mixed berry jam ($5.99).

Serrano’s has two locations in Mesa, one in downtown Chandler, and one in Queen Creek. A Tempe location is temporarily closed for remodeling.
