The Living Room at Downtown Ocotillo in Chandler has launched a new weekly theme night: Whiskey Wednesdays. Every Wednesday, whiskey is half-price starting at 4 p.m.
The evening will feature live music by Al Ortiz, an Arizona native perhaps best-known for his two decades of work with Stevie Nicks, from 6-9 p.m.
Meanwhile, Salt & Smoke, The Living Room’s sibling concept that shares its building, has started Oyster Night on Thursdays with $2 fresh oysters starting at 4 p.m. and running until the oysters run out (usually around 7).
Oysters include Kumiai oysters Rockefeller, mesquite-grilled oysters on the half shell, fire-roasted dynamite oysters, and Blue Point oysters on the half shell.
Jazz musician Kim Weston performs 6-9 p.m.
