After 22 major-league seasons and one World Series championship, TGI Fridays Front Row Sports Grill at Chase Field is retiring.
The restaurant and bar, which overlooks left field, saw its 2020 opening delayed and ultimately was limited to takeout while the Diamondbacks played an abbreviated season without fans.
This season there will be no comeback. The D-Backs announced the venue has been closed permanently.
Instead, the restaurant will be remodeled into a yet-to-be-determined new concept and reopen for the 2022 season.
Game Seven Grill, located just outside the stadium, also has been closed and will be remodeled.
