Day of the Dead-themed Eat My Taco makes debut next to ASU in Tempe

Eat My Taco, a taco shop with a Day of the Dead decor, has opened next to ASU near the southeast corner of Rural and University in Chandler.

It takes over the small adobe building that has been home to several restaurants, including Pita University, Flaming Kabob, and Urban Campfire.

Eat My Taco offers tacos with carne asada, beef birria, shredded chicken, or pork carnitas. Street-style tacos with cilantro and onions are $2.75, while tacos with a choice of numerous toppings are $3.50.

There also are barria tacos – dipped in birria, grilled on a flat-top with Colby-Jack cheese, and served with more dipping sauce ($3.99).
