Craft 64 in Chandler to add 10 ‘highly sought’ non-Arizona beers to its taps

By Jess Harter Monday, May 10, 2021

As Craft 64 in downtown Chandler approaches its second anniversary next week, the pizzeria brew pub is making a major change in its craft beer tap list.

Unlike its older sibling in Old Town Scottsdale, which was the first notable bar to offer Arizona beers only, the Chandler location is divvying things up.

According to co-owner James Swann, it now will have 10 of its own Craft 64 beers, 10 other Arizona beers, and 10 ‘‘highly sought’’ American beers on its 30 taps.

Like most Valley restaurants, Craft 64 Chandler has been negatively affected by the covid-19 pandemic.

Compounding its challenges has been its seemingly prime location between two busy businesses – nine-theater Flix Brewhouse and the historic San Marcos resort.

The pandemic has closed Flix and reduced resort traffic to a trickle for more than a year.
